Our New Awesome Classroom

Term 2 Begins!

We came into school. We came into our new classroom.  The first thing we think is 'WOW!'

Everything is shiny and smells new.  It really is a 5 star classroom.  We have a projector on the ceiling which we use everyday.  We have a cool lime green wall by the whiteboard.  Our whiteboard slides across and we have hidden shelves behind it.  We are lucky to get new desks and chairs.  We have a shared art space with Room 27, separated with sliding doors.  There are lots of cupboards and even a room to hide Miss Woods' mess!

Term 1 Art

This term we have been learning about portraits.  We practiced self portraits, cartoon portraits and portraits based on the work of Picasso.  Here are some of our pictures.

We have been studying native species of New Zealand and we drew some cartoon pictures of these animals.
