Science Friction
Yesterday Room 26 had their Science Alive session. We learnt all about forces.
Did you know that a scientist named Sir Isaac Newton came up with 3 laws for motion?
We learnt about these 3 laws:
1st law of motion is: You need a force to move something - a push or a pull
2nd law of motion is: The bigger an object, the bigger the force needed to move it
3rd law of motion is: That there is an opposite and equal reaction for every motion - e.g. a balloon moves the opposite direction to the air that comes out of it.
We did a few experiments to learn about these laws.

Player of the Day
This weekend Issy was named player of the day in her netball team. She did some great defending, marking and even made some intercepts. Well done Issy!
