Teaspoon of Light

Last Thursday we were lucky enough to participate in a drama class and helped create a play called "Teaspoon of Light".  The play was about a girl who went to sleep and awoke only to find her 'dream cloth' (a cloth that displays in pictures her what she dreams she wants to be or do).  The children pretended to be dream cloth makers to help fix the rip in the dream cloth.  Here are some pictures from their performance.

"Sarah" falling asleep so she could dream.

Opening up the dream cloth to assess the rip situation.

The dream cloth makers writing there recipes to make the dream cloth repair potion.

Re-creating the dreams on the dream cloth.

Blowing the images back into the dream box.

Seeing if the potion is working.

We were such excellent dream cloth makers that our potion worked and we have no idea how!

Don't Ever Ask A Centipede Poem

Each Friday we have a poem of the week. Last week our poem was one of Kenn Nesbitt's.  He is one of our favourite poets because he writes funny poems for children.  Here is his poem.
