Rm 27's Paint It Black entry

WoW! Congratulations to Room 27 for an amazing entry into the Paint It Black competition. They came 2nd place! Here is their entry.

Our big day in

This morning we chose activities to do. Some read audio books, some made stories on StoryJumper, some played board games and card games and some finished their art.

Our favourite part of the day was when we had to cook our BIG BREAKFAST. Luckily we had some fantastic parents who were able to help.  We cooked everything ourselves - pancakes, waffles, hashbrowns, eggs, smoothies, bacon. You name it, we cooked it! Thanks to Mrs Wakefield for also coming in to help out.  Here are some photos and videos of us cooking.

Canterbury Cross Country

We have some fantastic runners in Room 23.  Corban, Iso, Brigit and Gracie made it into the St Albans Canterbury Cross Country team! They competed at the Halswell Quarry against all the other representatives from all over Canterbury.  Well done to you all for all your hard work and training.  Here are some photos from the races.

Advertising and food

As we have been looking at food and cooking this week, I found this clip on YouTube about how when food items are advertised they look a lot better than what we end up buying.
