Room 23's Poetry Competition

Last Friday we held our class poetry competition.  Over the term we have been learning poems off by heart, showing enthusiasm, expression and learning how to use gestures to perform a poem.

Congratulations to Gracie, Jade and Georgie for making it through to the senior school finals which will be held tomorrow.

Newspaper technology challenge

Last Friday a mix of room 24 and room 23 students who don't go to choir competed in a technology challenge. The challenge was to create a gladiator outfit out of newspaper. It had to include: a shield, sword, armour and shoes. There was also room for creativity. Here are some of their creations and models.

Flynn the crusader

This was the winning team voted by room 22. They liked the creativity and that their design was well planned.
























There was a lot of great team work involved. Well done everyone. It looked like it was a lot of fun!
