Room 26 have some super runners in our class. Sam, Piper B, Piper W-B and Trinity all went off to Halswell Quarry for the second time to compete against all schools in the Canterbury region in cross country running.
They came back to school covered in mud. Well done you guys we are very proud of you.

Airforce Museum Trip
Last week we went to the Wigram Airforce Museum as part of our topic about flight. The trip was split into 2 parts. The first part was a lesson by Chris about the forces of flight and the second part was a scavenger hunt around the museum.
In the lesson we learnt about the 4 forces of flight: thrust, weight, lift and drag. We learnt how planes fly and the different parts of a plane. We were super lucky to be able to make our own mini planes.
During the scavenger hunt we had heaps of things to look at and find around the museum.
