Buddy Reading

Yesterday we went and helped our buddy class with their reading.  We listened to them read their junior readers and helped them use strategies for working out unknown words.  We wrote in their yellow home diary books and they listened to us read as well.

Athletics Sports

On Tuesday the Year 3-6 children competed in our school athletics sports.  The weather gods turned on a spectacular day - very hot and sticky.

Holiday postcards

This morning we are writing postcards and letters describing what some of our highlights were of our holidays.  Some of us are creating our postcards using a postcard creator online.

Buddies

Because the weather wasn't so flash for our 'Top Town' event last week, Room 23 and our buddy classes Rooms 5 and 8 got together and had a bit of fun.

We adopted Italy and had an Italian afternoon.  We made mini pizzas with spaghetti, cheese and bacon on top.  Some of the children took up the challenge of making an Italian vehicle with 3 wheels and others made pasta pictures.
